I like that Pandora brings the funny part of drag to the show. I want to be her BFF.

Yeah, Pandora is by far my favorite, though I think Tatiana did a great Britney Spears.

I was fine with the bottom two, and either one going home was just fine with me. Sostanque was just another bitchy queen. Will not miss.

Thanks to Deet for introducing me to Richard Lawson's recaps on Defamer.

Quote:
They always all look pretty good for the glossy runway show, with, sigh, Tyra being the standout. She just had this really fun costume that was a little suit and hat and a bunch of shopping bags (that said Santino on them! harooo!). Most of the other girls wore booty skirts or dresses, so Tyra doing a real costume kinda costume was a good time. Ru said her usual crazy things on the runway:

"Ohhh, Morgan just sold Alaska to Seward with that little number."

"Sonique my love, Bella Abzug called and she wants her hat back! Divine."

"Misty May-Treanor is that a wig and a half, Sahara!"

"We regret to inform you that your husband has died in a grist mill fire, Tatianna! Nice work!"

She could just say those things all day forever and ever and that would be a fine show. Why don't we do that instead of a competition? Coming this fall on Logo, RuPaul Says Things About Other Drag Queens. Or, Conveyor Belt of Queens?

I would so watch Conveyor Belt of Queens.

As much as I liked Sahara Davenport, I think she was the weakest one left (well, except for Tyra, who had immunity). I think that the lack of immunity here on out will work against Tyra. Or at least I hope so. I'm hoping for either Pandora or Jessica Wild to win now.

Also, in their recap of the episode, EW detailed what the next two episodes hold in store:

Quote:
What’s on deck for next week? The episode is titled “Once Upon a Queen” and finds the ladies selling their tales as they pose for a book cover shoot and hit the press circuit. E!’s Marc Malkin and authors Jackie Collins and Gigi Levangie Granger are on board as guest judges.

BUT! The following week’s episode is what I’m really looking forward to: It’s called “Golden Gals,” and the queens are charged with—and this is straight from the logline—transforming “a group of silver daddies into their drag mothers.” I mean! Cloris Leachman and Debbie Reynolds will be there to judge.

Yeah. I'm not sure if anyone watched the Untucked episode that followed the show, but thank god someone finally mentioned how much a cheap Beyonce imitator Tyra is. Even her "rock" wig was just the same thing she wore when she played, of course, Beyonce on the snatch game.

Still, I have a feeling she'll stick around until the top three (at least) just because she's so damn pretty on the runway. I'm guessing Tatiana or Jujube goes next. Maybe Jessica. But, I figure it's Tyra, Pandora and Raven for the top three.

I'm thinking that it'll be Pandora, Jessica Wild, and either Raven or Tyra (seems like they'll have one "bitch" slot reserved).

Looks like Jujubee is wearing down a little bit and they've always sort of been after her for landing in the middle, and with numbers dwindling, what was once the middle is becoming the bottom. Tatiana's inexperience and cheap look will bite her soon I think.

As for Tyra and Raven, I think a case could be made for either one, but I think Tyra's being nothing more than a Beyonce impersonator will finally catch up with her. That, and the two weeks she's had immunity, they pretty much said that she'd be in the bottom if she weren't safe. Granted, Raven's been there twice too, but I think she has a little more than one look, where as Tyra's got just one that she admittedly does well, but that's all she's working with.

Sahara Davenport is somewhat of a good-looking guy, but she looks 79 as a woman. And Jessica Wild looks even more masculine in full drag, as much as I like her. Tyra and her underbite are fucking awful.

I'd love for Pandora to win but I fear it will come down to the fact that she's not as pretty. So I'm thinking Raven. Cockadoodledoo!!!

Raven is like that stuck up bitch from last season that looked like Kirstie Alley though, ugh.

That one showgirl from Las Vegas who always bitched that they didn't compliment her enough? I thought the same thing Smile

As for Pandora not being pretty enough, I would tend to agree, but at the same time, they gave it to Bebe last year.

In my dream scenario, they get to the finals, and say the winner is..... NINA FLOWERS!

Jujube & Pandora's "reading" lessons had me HOWLING.

"Jessica Wild... those drag clothes look like a donkey fucked a piñata and threw up."

The Library is CLOSED.

I did a little reading of my own during the commercial break when Shannel's Absolut commercial came on.

She looked like if Kirstie Alley fucked Vanessa Williams and somehow produced a child. This past year has not been kind.

Poor Yessica, she reminded me of Sofia Vergara.

"You have a dog face, your body is huge!"

I kind of want it to come down to Raven, Juju & Pandora, with the final two being Juju & Pandora.

I'd back a Pandora/JuJu top two.

I'm getting reeeeeally over Raven's know-it-all act though. I like her even less than Tyra now. And I hope she goes home before Tatianna, because I just want to see the reaction.

I hate to admit it, but I've grown to kind of like Raven. I feel like she's a little... smarter than a lot of the rest of them or something. The person who I've grown to hate is Tatiana, who doesn't seem to want to do anything. (First her rock n' roll practice session and then the reading.) It's like, bitch, fine. Go home and be sweet in the streets and a freak in the sheets or whatever you said when you didn't want to sell cherry pie.

Speaking of readin' a bitch, was anyone else surprised (or notice) that Tyra - of all people - made a direct reference to Paris is Burning when she called Juju an "UNDERgrown orangutan?" That's straight from the "Reading" segment of that movie. (The little one who ends up getting murdered says it during her, admittedly weak, demonstration of how to read someone.) Juju also makes a little mention of the movie when she goes into the whole "legendary" thing about Raven. So, that was all surprising... that Tyra would know anything about that movie. But, someone probably lied to her and said it was a Dreamgirls: BEYONCE'S BEST BITS EDITION special dvd so she'd watch it.

Noooo!

I didn't think Pandora was going to win, but I thought she'd go further. When it came down to Pandora and Jujubee to lip synch for their lives, it killed me since it meant one of my two favorites was going home. So, on that note, JuJu for the mf-ing win!

Ditto to all of the above.

I'm legitimately upset right now. Over a drag reality show. WTF?
